NKF registration is the process which legalizes the sale of kidney organs to family kidney donors or individuals who wish to sell their kidney.

NKF requires all donors to engage in the registration so as to have a higher chances of facilitating and carry out legal kidney transaction as it is prohibited in many countries to engage in the sales of human body organs without legal registration by a medication authority. Offenders who engage in kidney sales without proper and legal registration with the National kidney foundation are liable to serve term or go through legal convictions.

Why register nkf?

Step 1:

To register with NKF, donors are required to present medical details to kidney department representatives of patients or medical facilities or institutions that is purchasing kidney organ so as to enable them present details of medical history and records.

Step 2:

Donor’s are required to go do registration online or visit our branch offices. Registration takes approximately 3 (three) to 5 (five) hours after payment of registration fee and sending over of copy of NKF registration payment receipt to kidney representatives along with national identification card, passport and email.

After verification of payment, NKF processes donor certificate and send it directly via email with registered date of validity and expiration.
